DescriptionWe are seeking a contract administrative assistant to support a manufacturing HR and Safety department for a company in Cedar Falls. This role will be slightly unique in that it will also include enforcing/managing their security policy. The working hours will be 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM. The primary duties include: • Staffing the security office to distribute visitor and/or vendor badges. • Generating reports related to safety incidents and statistics. • Managing the distribution of safety equipment to employees. • Monitoring the inventory of safety equipment and ensuring supplies are ordered and stocked. • Coordinate interview schedules for job candidates. • Perform administrative duties as assigned. The experience/skill requirements include: • Proficient with Microsoft Office products including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook. • Detail oriented, with organizational aptitude • Ability to handle multiple projects • Good communication and follow-up • Initiative This position is $15-17 per hour depending on previous experience.
